Welcome to The High Point Blog. This blog mainly centers around the news and events concerning the new High Point community off of 35th Ave SW and SW Raymond streets in West Seattle. The idea of starting a High Point blog first came to me when I recently purchased a townhome just outside of High Point. By “just outside” I mean that the end of my lot literally touches the beginning of High Point proper (See the red oval).
Anyway, this blog hopes to chronicle the growth and population of High Point and my personal experiences as one of its first new residents. You’ll also find relevant news regarding ongoing residential sales in High Point; planned retail development; and news on Phase II when and as it becomes available. Though the main purpose of this blog is to focus on topics relevant to the High Point community, I’ll occasionally also mix in posts on Seattle and West Seattle politics, business, entertainment, and real estate in general.
